The Braun ThermoScan 7 thermometer features age-adjustable fever indication technology.

Fever varies with the age of the child, which is why the patented Age Precision technology gives you a more accurate temperature measurement. Simply select your child's age range before taking the measurement.

The Braun IRT 6520 infrared thermometer measures the infrared heat emitted by the eardrum and surrounding tissues in just 1 second. The probe tip is preheated to a temperature close to that of the human body, to ensure better measurement accuracy.

The display changes color in the event of a fever (Green: normal temperature; Yellow: high temperature; Red: high temperature). The corresponding temperature ranges are adapted to the age of the patient:

Patient from 0 to 3 months: normal temperature between 35.8 and 37.4 ° C; high temperature above 37.4°C.

Patient from 3 to 36 months: normal temperature between 35.4 and 37.6°C; high temperature between 37.6 and 38.5°C; high temperature above 38.5°C.

Patient over 36 months: normal temperature between 35.4 and 37.7°C; high temperature between 37.7 and 39.4°C; high temperature above 39.4°C.

This LCD screen has a night light to easily take measurements in a poorly lit environment.
