Bipolar coagulation : In this coagulation mode, the HF voltage is, similar to soft coagulation, automatically and constantly controlled, and its maximum value always remains below 200 Vp, so that the current density and therefore the coagulation effect is, for the most part, independent of the effective surface contact between the coagulation electrode and the tissue, provided that the effective contact area is not too large in relation to the currently defined power limitation.
