TYMPANOMETER GSI TYMPSTAR 2

The GSI Tympstar is a tympanometer with both manual and automatic modes. It offers two modes: diagnostic or screening. The built-in display can show up to 3 tests. - Eustachian tube test Two test modes are available: one for testing the eustachian tube with an intact tympanic membrane, and one for testing the tube with a perforated membrane. - Reflex-Decay test The GSI Tympstar's integrated display clearly shows the reflex decay time in seconds. - Acoustic threshold test The GSI Tympstar lets you manually or automatically control the time of the tonal presentation. Several stimuli and intensities are available to determine the acoustic reflex threshold. Options include measurement of Admittance (Y), Susceptance (B) and Conductance (G )at 226 Hz, 678 Hz and 1,000 Hz, as well as multiple frequency. This makes it easy to determine the resonance frequency of the middle ear.
