ABBE number The LM-50 automatically compensates measured values when a different ABBE number is selected, enabling more accurate measurement results. Selectable numbers range from 30 to 60, in increments of 5, for a total of 7 settings. Real-time prism power measurement Prism power is read at an arbitrary point, and displayed in two forms: rectangular coordinates (BU/BD, BI/BO) and polar (Δ/ deg.). Automatic progressive lens detection The LM-50's auto-detection function detects progressive lenses when a lens is placed on the nose. As soon as the device detects a progressive lens, it automatically switches to progressive lens measurement mode, eliminating tedious manual operations. No more lens detection errors. Good visibility thanks to large backlit LCD display Thanks to a large LCD display, measured values are easy to read. What's more, the display is backlit, offering excellent visibility even in dimly lit rooms. Measurement results for the left and right lenses are temporarily stored, then displayed sequentially when the READ button is pressed.
