The HemoCue® Hb 201+ Hemoglobin Analyzer brings modern data processing capabilities to the HemoCue® product line. Thanks to a wide choice of definable settings and options, the analyzers can be set to prompt the operator to enter identification data, batch numbers, quality control information and other information required during analysis. This data can then be transmitted to clinical information systems. HemoCue® analyzers provide an opportunity for fast, simple and reliable quantitative hemoglobin testing, since they offer the same performance as a large hematology analyzer. The dual-wavelength photometers correct errors that may be associated with lipids, leukocytes or other sources of turbidity. Any type of blood (capillary, venous or arterial) can be used. Transfusion decisions, EPO assays and anemia detection can be perfectly performed immediately and on the spot.the unbreakable, single-use microcuvette fills with the exact quantity of blood and automatically mixes it with the reagents. The microcuvette is then placed in the portable photometer. The result is displayed on screen in less than a minute.
