Training must include resuscitation with bag, valve and mask on training dummies. Incorrect use of these products can be harmful to the patient. These resuscitators systematically entrain ambient air. When used by a trained person, Intersurgical insufflators enable safe, effective ventilation to be maintained, both in situations requiring resuscitation and when breathing is inadequate. All systems can be connected to an oxygen supply. The concentration of oxygen delivered depends on the oxygen flow rate, the presence of a reservoir and the tidal volume. Resuscitation can be performed without additional oxygen. If the patient regurgitates and contaminates the system, the patient connections and valve can be cleaned by successive compressions on the balloon. I. Check balloon, valve and oxygen supply for integrity and correct operation.2. Connect oxygen supply circuit if present and clinically necessary. 3.
