EXOGEN EXPRESS ULTRASONIC BONE CONSOLIDATION SYSTEM The EXOGEN EXPRESS ultrasonic bone consolidation system offers non-invasive treatment to consolidate pseudoarthroses or accelerate the healing of fresh fractures. In addition, in the EU and Canada, the EXOGEN EXPRESS device provides non-invasive treatment for conoslidation of bone defects. The device transmits a low-intensity ultrasound signal to the bone through a coupling gel, with the patient experiencing little or no sensation during treatment. In vitro and in vivo studies have shown that a low-intensity pulsed ultrasound signal stimulates cells to produce the growth factors and proteins involved in the bone consolidation process.
