There are many different methods of childbirth, and it's important to have a pleasant stay. The Affinity® IV delivery bed has been designed to adapt to all birthing methods. It is designed to ensure patient comfort in all positions. Thanks to the emergency battery, the bed's controls remain operational even when it is unplugged, facilitating patient positioning and control during emergency transport. The OneStep® side rails can be raised and lowered with just one hand, and automatically fold under the bed during lowering. The locking system of the OneStep® side rails facilitates and secures the transfer of the patient, ensuring a perfect connection (without gaps). The bed's clean lines (all equipment is stored within the bed's perimeter: no protuberances) protect you as you move quickly around your patient. The pelvic section with automatic tilt and optional V-shaped mattress facilitate access to the patient during birth. The foot section locks easily into position. The bed's streamlined design gives it a lightweight feel, making it easy to maneuver during patient transport. The EasyGlide® bolster rests can be adjusted for optimum positioning, and are locked with a simple handle. Thanks to the robust Trendelenburg mechanism, incorporating pneumatic cylinders and reinforced joints, the bed can be raised and lowered with ease by a single person. The pneumatic tilt mechanism immediately lowers the head by 8 degrees. The OneStep® stirrups are wider and can be locked in place with a locking handle that can be operated with one hand, at any angle. Inflatable cushions in the back and on the seat eliminate the need to reposition the patient during delivery. The four wheels are double-locked, allowing the bed to be completely immobilized. The thicker Comfortline® pressure-reducing foam mattress provides extra support, particularly in the sensitive seat area.
